Privacy Policy

The short version

• We do not collect your data. AuditionAlly has no user accounts and no analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs.
• Your scripts, recordings, and audio stay on your device. Script parsing, the AI scene-partner voices, rehearsal, recording, editing, and export all run locally on your iPhone or iPad. None of it is uploaded to us or to any third party.
• No scripts, recordings, audio, or project content leaves your device unless you choose to send a diagnostic report — and only if you explicitly tap “Send” in your own Mail or share sheet. (Downloading on-device AI models involves standard network requests, which expose normal connection metadata such as your IP address to the hosting provider, as any download does.)

What stays on your device

Everything you create in AuditionAlly is stored locally:

• Imported scripts and sides (including the source PDF)
• The parsed script and any edits you make
• Video and audio recordings (your takes)
• AI reader voice audio and on-device models

We have no servers that receive, store, or process this content. We cannot see it.

Network activity

AuditionAlly connects to the internet only to download on-device AI models and app resources (for example, the voice model and the script-parsing model) to your device. These are downloads to your device. No personal content, scripts, audio, or video is uploaded during these downloads.

Diagnostic reports (optional)

To help improve script-parsing accuracy during the beta, AuditionAlly can offer to create a diagnostic report after a script import or recording session. This is always optional:

• A report is only created if you choose to make one, and only sent if you tap “Send” in your device's Mail or share sheet.
• If you choose to send a parser report, it may include the source PDF, the parsed and corrected script, and technical diagnostic information. It does not include your video or audio recordings.
• Reports are delivered using your own email or share sheet, addressed to the developer (currently beta@auditionally.app). There is no automatic or background transmission.
• Please do not send confidential or embargoed material. If your sides are under an NDA, do not include them in a report.

You are never required to send a report, and the app works fully whether or not you do.

Permissions

AuditionAlly may ask for access to your camera, microphone, and speech recognition so you can record self-tapes and use hands-free voice controls. Speech recognition runs on-device. These permissions are used only for the features you choose to use, and the resulting recordings stay on your device.

Children's privacy

AuditionAlly is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top and post the revised version at this URL.
